Discover the Greater Bay Area

Experience China first-hand: Wirtschaftsclub Rhein-Main is planning an exclusive business delegation trip to the Greater Bay Area together with the China International Investment Promotion Agency (Germany), CIIPA. The focus is on personal encounters, new business contacts and insights into one of China’s most dynamic economic regions.
We will visit companies and institutions in Shenzhen and Zhuhai, meet Chinese entrepreneurs and discover innovation where it happens. Shared dinners and selected city tours complement the business programme.
What to expect
- Company visits focusing on smart manufacturing, robotics, automation and semiconductor technology
- German-Chinese business matchmaking and exchange with local business institutions
- Personal networking within the WRM delegation and with Chinese business partners
- Insights into Shenzhen and Zhuhai, followed by a return journey via Hong Kong or an optional extension to Shanghai
The itinerary at a glance
Departure from Frankfurt, arrival in Shenzhen, transfer to the hotel and first impressions of the city. Welcome dinner together.
Business matchmaking and planned company visits, including EVOC, Leadshine Technology, DOBOT, Hancheng Industrial Control and Han’s Motor. Afterwards, onward travel to Zhuhai.
Exchange on industrial innovation and specialised technology companies. Planned visits include Yunzhou Tech, Bowei Electric, Actions Semiconductor, Taixin Semiconductor and G&H Technology.
Transfer to Hong Kong with a city tour. Return flight on the evening of 21 May; arrival in Frankfurt on 22 May.
Domestic flight to Shanghai, visits to the Lingang Special Area and further companies, plus time to explore the city. Return flight to Frankfurt on 23 May.
This is a preliminary programme. Company visits, flight connections and the itinerary remain subject to change.
Participation fee & included services
€2,800 per person, including VAT
According to CIIPA’s current trip announcement.
Included are international and domestic economy-class flights, hotel accommodation, meals, organisation and logistics for the business programme, matchmaking, and company and institutional visits. A €300 discount is planned for accommodation in a shared double room.
